Q. Why should we create a wedding website?
A. The internet is a great way to provide information, including for weddings. By creating a website, you are allowing your guests to stay informed of your wedding plans - up to the minute. You can inform guests about cultural traditions, provide information on the wedding party, give maps and directions to the reception site... the list is endless. It's an invaluable resource.

By allowing guests to RSVP online, it's also a great way to cut down on costs for things like reply cards and envelopes.
   
   
Q. Why Vancouver Wedding Sites?
A. We understand that weddings can be stressful, and that the planning can be all-consuming. We've also worked with the web long enough to realize its strengths in providing information and keeping people informed. It became our goal to use our design skills to provide a service that would allow couples to create a custom wedding website and maintain control over the content, without the need for expensive programs or website knowledge.
   
   
Q. Do I have to live in Vancouver to get a website from you?
A. Absolutely not! We're based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, but we can create and host your wedding website no matter where you are located.
   
   
Q. How long does the process take?
A. After you submit an order, you will be contacted within 24 hours by us to discuss your order and secure payment. If you have selected the premade package and chosen a design, your website will be setup and ready for you to manage within 24 hours of VWS receiving payment. If you have selected a custom design package, it can take around 2 weeks after payment is received, depending on the complexity of the website.
   
   
Q. Can we personalize the domain name for our website?
A. Certainly! We do provide hosting (ex. http://yourname.weddingwebsite.ca/) as part of both packages, but we can accommodate a personalized domain. Please see our packages and pricing page for specific information.
   
   
Q. What exactly do you do? What is your involvement in the site?
A. Once you've decided which package you want to work with (premade or custom), you place an order and it gets submitted to us. We'll setup an initial consultation to go over your order to make sure you've selected everything you need. Once that is done, and we have received payment from you for the website, we create the template for your website and setup an account for you in our members area. You will then receive an email with account login details, which will allow you to login to the members area to enter content and access your features. After the setup of your website, we're here for support and to help you with any additional features you may need as you near your special day.
   
   
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept payment by credit card (through PayPal), cheque, money order, or cash.
   
   
Q. I really like a particular template, but I want to change a few things...
A. That's fine! Our goal is to provide affordable wedding websites with a personalized touch. If you like a specific design but aren't keen on the font style or text layout, let us know. We will work with you to tweak minor elements in the design to match your style. However, if you want to request major design/style changes, we suggest ordering a custom package.
